While it seems like just yesterday that X-Men ’97 debuted on Disney+ in March, the first installment of the animated series is coming to a close.

The series, which is described as a “continuation” of X-Men: The Animated Series, is set to wrap its first installment with an upcoming tenth episode.

Titled “Tolerance is Extinction,” episode 10 marks the third and final part of the three-part finale.

The nostalgic new series has garnered a lot of praise, including from Decider’s very own Senior Reporter/Producer Brett White, who urged people to check out the show in his X-Men ’97 review, noting that the series “actually is exactly what you remember X-Men ’92 being.”

Fortunately, fans can anticipate more X-Men ’97 following the upcoming finale. Marvel Studios’ Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation and series executive producer Brad Winderbaum appeared on ComicBook.com’s Phase Zero podcast in March, where he revealed that they’re “through the animatic phase of Season 2,” and are also already “developing Season 3.”
