Nikki Glaser explained she was in disbelief how her career “ascended overnight” after she crushed her set during Tom Brady’s Netflix roast May 2.

Glaser, who was a part of the lineup of comedians who roasted the former quarterback, trolled Brady about his ex-wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, moving on with her jujitsu coach, Joaquim Valente — and the world fell in love with her bold delivery and raunchy sex jokes.

“Tom Brady knows my name now,” the 39-year-old Glaser told Vanity Fair. “In his joke, he didn’t say it fully, but he said ‘Glaser.’ He said it right. I will never get this much attention until I die. I have an inkling of what it feels like to be Taylor Swift on a really slow day for her.

“I ascended in my career more than I ever have, overnight. It just doesn’t happen today with how oversaturated the content is — that all eyes are on something like this.”

Glaser, who has been a professional comedian for more than 20 years, joked: “Outside of Will Smith slapping me, I don’t think I’ll get this much attention as a comedian in my life.”

She recalled receiving a mass amount of text messages after her set nearly broke the internet.

“I didn’t know how big it was until it was over because, obviously, it was live,” she said. “Text messages were rolling in like someone in my life had died.”

Glaser went on to explain that she hadn’t met Brady prior to participating in “The Roast of Tom Brady” — a three-hour event, which featured his former Patriots teammates Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman, coach Bill Belichick and Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

“My first time meeting him was when I was up on the podium,” Glaser said. “That’s the first time I’ve ever talked to him. We didn’t meet backstage. We didn’t have a Zoom call. There was no preface to this. Which made it easier to go hard.”

Glaser didn’t hold back when it came to her jokes about Brady’s personal life.

“Tom Brady: five-time Super Bowl MVP, most career wins, most career touchdowns, you have seven rings–well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back,” she joked during the roast. “You’re the best to ever play for too long. I mean, you retired, then you came back, and then you retired again. I get it.

“It’s hard to walk away from something that’s not your pregnant girlfriend,” she said, referring to Brady’s relationship with ex, Bridget Moynahan, whom he shares a son, 16-year-old son Jack.

Brady and Bündchen were married for 13 years before they split, announcing in October 2022 that they finalized their divorce.

They share two kids: daughter Vivian, 11, and 14-year-old son Ben.

Following the roast, People reported that Bündchen was “deeply disappointed” by the “disrespectful” jokes about her and her family.

“I mean, I would be disappointed in me if I were Gisele as well,” Glaser said. “Even saying her name, I tried to maybe say it less than I needed to. In my final joke about her, I said, ‘ex-wife.’ I tried not to mention her name as much as possible, but he’s a part of her story.… That’s how I rationalize talking about someone who did not ask to be part of this conversation.”
