Weekly poll results: the Honor Magic6 RSR Porsche Design is a niche device

The Honor Magic6 RSR Porsche Design is a niche device, there are no two ways about it. Last week’s poll shows that there is some interest in such limited edition, rather pricey devices – perhaps bigger than we expected. If you have the money, why not treat yourself?

There isn’t much to complain about as far as the hardware is concerned, it’s just that you can buy two flagships for that kind of price. Or a premium device like the Honor Magic6 Pro and something else.

But Porsche Design has a pedigree and it is a fairly unique look. It’s not just pure design either, there are some genuinely cool tech features in there like the dual-layer OLED display (which even Apple thinks is cool).

Anyway, we were expecting the Magic6 Pro to receive more votes – after all, if you’re going to put a case on it, it’s mostly (not quite, but mostly) the same thing, just cheaper.

There is also a strong competition from other brands too, but (unsurprisingly) the price is the biggest factor in people deciding to pass on the RSR.
