Price Is Right With Bob Barker Airing on Buzzr Channel Daily

If you grew up in the ’80s and ’90s, then watching The Price Is Right was a staple of childhood sick days. Now, classic game-show channel Buzzr is giving viewers under the age of 35 the chance to hang out with Bob Barker again. After years of requests from fans, the all-games network is finally adding throwback episodes of the CBS staple to its daily lineup, Vulture has learned. Back-to-back installments of Barker’s bargain-hunting bonanza will air daily from 3 to 5 p.m. ET, starting on Tuesday, May 28. Buzzr is planning to kick off its run of TPIR with episodes from the 1984–85 season, shuffling through more than 200 hours of episodes over the next few months.

While Buzzr has long been home to most of the biggest game-show titles from the library of parent company Fremantle — Match Game, Password, and Press Your Luck — old-school TPIR has been conspicuously absent. Even after Fremantle launched a free ad-supported streaming channel with nothing but Barker’s TPIR at the end of 2020, the Goodson-Todman classic stayed off of traditional TV; ditto when Barker died in August 2023. If you wanted to watch The Price Is Right on a regular TV network, then your only option in recent decades has been Drew Carey’s long-running CBS version of the format. Even better, Barker’s return to linear TV coincides with the second annual National Game Show Day, an admittedly made-up holiday that is nonetheless worth celebrating.

If you’re new to the world of Buzzr, there are multiple ways to get the channel: You can see if there’s a local affiliate in your city or on your cable/satellite system, or watch the network’s live feed for free, either on its own website or via numerous streaming platforms, including Tubi, Roku Channel, Freevee, Pluto TV, Xumo, and Sling. Sadly, saltine crackers and ginger ale are not included.
